Works, but be careful.
Product works well but you need to check the output at the end of the cigarette lighter plug with voltmeter. I couldn't figure out why there was no power at the cig plug. After some investigating I realized there was a fuse inside the cig plug that was blown. Even though the blue light is flashing you'll still have no power at the plug. I slid the chrome ring off the plug and it opened up exposing a blown fuse. Hope this helps.

Sunforce Solar Battery Maintainer
I installed this battery maintainer on the dashboard of my motor home and plugged it into the cigarette lighter while the motor home was in long term storage. Since the rig faces the morning sun, the maintainer did an excellent job of keeping the battery up to charge. I am well pleased with this Sunforce Solar battery Maintainer and would recommend it to anyone in need of such a unit.

Sunforce 1.8 watt solar battery charger
I purchased this solar charger for a camping trip I had planned. Out in the high deserts of Arizona, I wanting protection that my truck battery will be charged. I have a 1993 Nissan Pathfinder with a WalMart battery. We did use the truck battery too much while camping and that next morning the battery would not turn over the truck motor. Hooked up the Sunforce 1.8W solar charger and by day end the truck started right up. LIFE SAVER!!! I would recomend the product HIGHLY!!!

Solar unit will save your battery and extend it's life!
This unit is a must for any vehicle that sits for an extended period of time. As long as the battery has a full charge this will maintain the battery and it will keep the charge topped off. Over the winter my bike sits for long periods and with solar maintainer the battery fires the bike up every time. A weather proof unit is what I needed since it is mounted outside of my garage. It also has a 15' extension for it. Beware that the positive and negative terminals are reversed on this unit as compared to most other battery chargers and maintainers so you will have to pay attention to that if you are swapping cables or you are integrating it will another charging device.
Could be better
I purchased this array to charge an accessory battery on my golf cart. It seems to be well made and is water proof, which is why I bought it. It comes with ample cords and is small in size.I would have given it 4 or 5 stars, but, it has no LED or any way to know if and when it is working. Some of these arrays ( some cheaper) have at least an LED to let you know the thing is functioning. A serious draw back IMHO!

Good, but not Great
I got these for my rv as well as my jeep that sits for weeks on end. The solar panels came packaged ok. No loose parts or missing parts. You receive both a cigarette lighter plug as well as alligator clips. Both adaptors attach easily to the solar panel. One of my complaints are the suction cups used to attach to the windshield. They don't suck! Meaning, they constantly fall of the windshield. You do get 4 suction cups in the packaging. I had to play with the cups to find the 2 that worked the "best".Doing a little testing on my amp draw of my jeep. I found that is pulls .088 amps with no key and all accessories off. Sticking a panel to my windshield resulted in a reduction of my amp draw to .017 amps. This is better, but not quite what I was wanting. Remembering that all windshields come with a UV filter in them, I pulled the solar panel into the direct sunlight and found the vehicle was now charging .023 amps. This is more like it, however, reading the directions, these...
Excellent Battery Tender For Vehicles That Aren't Operated Frequently - But See Last Update
I keep several antique vehicles, two pickups, and two new cars I drive almost daily. So, I was looking for a solution to maintain the battery on my 2007 Siverado pickup - with only 5,500 miles accumulated on it after almost four years. As you can see, it's not driven much and it still looks brand new for all intents and purposes. The standard alarm system and electronics place a constant drain on its battery and I was having to jump start every time the truck hadn't been started within a month - I also knew that wasn't doing my battery any good.Local and other stores wanted $15 to $20 more for just one of these solar maintainers than priced at Amazon.com. I was surprised to find this offer of two, for what amounted to the price of one, and quickly purchased them at the savings offered. I also have a pristeen 1981 GMC Sierra with only 22,000 miles on its clock. So, this two pack gave me one to use with it as well - although the Sierra doesn't drain its battery quickly at...

Kept my battery going
I left my Porsche for 2 months in a neighbor's driveway with this taped on the outside of the car cover and the wire running under the edge of the cover, through the door to the lighter plug. The battery was still fully charged after 2 months of sitting while the car alarm was still active.

Works better than expected
I hooked up three 12 volt batteries in series, and used a Kill-A-Watt to measure the output. The output was 500 watts at 36 volt input, and the 90 amphour batteries lasted 5 hours. I believe the inverter will put out 550 watts at 48 volts. I have only run it 4 hours, but I don't expect any problems when hooking it up to a solar panel.

Works as described.
The inverter is plug and play. Simple as that. I built my own 250 watt solar panel with another in the works. 4 bolts to mount the inverter in the box, M size connectors and plug it in. Flip the switch and the green light comes on. Done and done.
unreliable product and no support
The unit i purchased lasted about 5 minutes before it stopped working. It was pulling power from a 12v 90watt solar panel (in full sun). The instructions explain what each LED is for but doesn't explain all the states. I understood what the green and red were for but the instructions didn't cover what it meant when both LEDs were flashing or when both LEDs were solid. According the to instructions, only one LED is supposed to on at a time. Operation seemed simple enough but there is no troubleshooting available. And when all you have is an input and an output, it doesn't take long to realize the unit just doesn't work. Numerous emails to the seller and manufacturer were all dead ends. I chose this product because of the cost, but i got what i paid for which is a $200 paper weight. I think i'll save my money next time and buy an outback inverter.
